Events & Fundraising 

We like to take the children on trips once a term using our local community.  Each term our committee also arranges a fundraising event which is enjoyed by everyone!!

Autumn Term Events

October

We visit Alyn Waters Country Park for a sponsored autumn walk to look at changes in the seasons and collect items for an autumn display.


November

We visit Wrexham Library by train to change our Library books, take part in fun activities, and look at the Christmas decorations in the town centre.  


December

We visit Gwersyllt C.P. School to watch their Early Years Christmas Concert.  It is lovely for us to see how much last years children have grown and it is always very entertaining!!

 

We hold Christmas Parties for Playgroup and Toddlers with our special guest, Santa!

 

We sing Christmas songs in Bradley Village Hall’s Christmas Fair.

We hold a Christmas Bingo - which is enjoyed by the whole community.

Spring Term Events

March

We take the children on a trip however the venue changes dependent on the topic.

Every Easter we hold a bingo -There are always lots of great prizes to be won.

Summer Term Events

April

We start our transition visits for those children that will be attending Gwersyllt C.P. School in September.  The children visit in small groups and later in the year we attend their Early Years Sports Day/ Teddy bear's picnic - which is an extremely enjoyable event!!

May

We take the children on a trip however the venue changes dependent on the topic. 

Tempest photography come into the setting.

June

We hold a fundraising event this varies every year.

July

We hold an open day in Playgroup where new children can visit and collect a registration pack ready for the September term.

 

There is always an End of Year party for both Playgroup and Toddlers.

 

Leavers Concert. This is a lovely opportunity to watch your children perform the group’s favourite songs and rhymes that they have enjoyed learning over the year.  Tissues may be needed as you watch your child all ready to leave us for their new adventure of big school.
